Voyage, First full magazine design
I went through the whole magazine and designed all of it, all in the same editorial style.
My supervisor suggested that open the cover, for the Y and A in Voyage, I change the angle of the Y so that it was parallel to the A, this worked really well and makes the type look a lot more harmonious and efficient.
I really like the boldness and contrast of this spread, among others; one page you have large type, colour and images and on the facing page its blank white and empty with text boxes in the middle.
The colour from this spread came from the nice teal colour of the machinery in this image.
My supervisor suggested changing the Rebecca page - it was too cluttered and needed the same amount of space that the other spreads have.
What works well- The editorial style is consent throughout the magazine; Sabon and Futura are the two main typefaces which oppose and contrast each other nicely, one being serifed and one sans serif. High amounts of negative space are used throughout.

- Vijonara
What could be Improved - There are loads of colours going on, while this does separate each article, is it too much and does it require more consistency? Also are some of the pages too bold and lack the refinement and elegance that would appeal to the target audience of this magazine - e.g. pendennis vilanova, Rebecca.
- Community news pages - dark blue and gold/brown spreads.
